I am amazed at how many projects I can start and not finish. Just this afternoon I found no less than 7 (yes, 7) 30-36" afghans that I crocheted last fall. They were in a box. What needed to be finished on them? Just the tail ends of the yarn tucked in. That's it, nothing else. Don't you think I should have done that when I crocheted them? But NO, I didn't. Now they are done, and ready to be donated to the childrens' oncology unit. {{Sigh}} Did I learn from this? NO, I didn't. Just found a stack of adult crocheted hats that I also started last fall. What's left? Yes, you got it, the tail ends of the yarn. Want to make this worse? I've got 10 pair of baby booties, 6 neck scarves, and about 18 baby hats in the same shape.
I'm finishing all these projects before I start another item. This is crazy. And it doesn't just pertain to these items. I do this with other things too. Cleaning, embroidery, yard work, anything. I procrastinate more than anyone I know. And yet, I don't do it at work. Go figure!
